ÖBB is Austria’s largest climate protection company with more than 40,000 employees. 90% wear corporate clothing. How can such a big organisation start a circular economy approach?

The infrastructure for a circular economy approach is currently being developed. It is difficult to find the right partners. Regulations like the Waste Management Act make it complicated to collect, store and move used clothing pieces.

Change is possible when companies start looking holistically on the whole topic of corporate clothing. From Procurement to Waste disposal. Corporate outfits can consist of 38 pieces. Let’s start looking at the circular economy approach with 1 piece.
